Data deletion instructions
Last updated: September 27, 2026
You can request deletion of your Crowdscore account or information about you in our creator directory, including information obtained from Instagram or other sources. You do not need a Crowdscore account to request removal of a directory profile.
1. Send your request
Email privacy@crowdscore.co with the subject Crowdscore data deletion request.
- For a brand or creator account, email us from the address registered with Crowdscore and identify the account you want deleted.
- For a directory profile, include your Instagram username or other social profile URL, and the Crowdscore profile link if you have it.
- Tell us whether you want your entire account/profile removed or only particular information deleted.
Do not send your password, authenticator codes, access tokens, or identity documents with your initial request.
2. Verify and confirm the scope
We will reply to acknowledge your request, provide a reference, and confirm the information to be removed. We may ask for reasonable proof that you control the account or social profile, or that you are authorized to act for its owner. We will not remove someone else’s account solely because another person supplied its email address or username.
3. What deletion covers
For a verified full-account request, we remove account credentials, sessions, profile details, preferences, owned lists and notes, authored messages, campaigns and applications as applicable. Creator removal also covers stored profile information, imported source records in the application, audience estimates, photos, recent media, and associated collection jobs and update history. We stop future collection for the removed profile.
Content authored by other users may remain with the deleted account’s identity link removed. If another person’s content contains your personal information, identify it in your request so we can review it. Deleting data from Crowdscore does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account or posts on those services.
Timing, backups and limited retention
We normally complete deletion within 60 days after verifying the request, and sooner where applicable law or platform requirements require it. We will explain any verification issue, permitted exception or delay and confirm when your request is completed.
Deleted information is removed from active systems. Restricted backup copies expire on their retention schedules, within the deletion period. If a backup is restored, recorded erasures must be reapplied before the service is reopened. We retain a minimal request/completion record and hashed profile identifiers to prevent reimport. Limited information may be retained where legally required, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
